I have been talking to a recruiter from JBS trucking ... She told me the miles were good the company was good and equipment was good . They are based out of Colorodo ... Of course you can never beleive a recruiter there are some good ones and some bad ones you never know... So I am looking for info on this company ? How is thier orientation ... How is this company... Not crazy about going to Co. for orientation so I want to make sure this is worth it .

If you go to the Favorite section there is a couple hunded pages about JBS from several different people. Overall it seems like quite a good place to be from all I have read there...

They may be a decent place to work at overall. I do have reservations about working anywhere that has run into problems with the FMCSA and had EOBR's mandated because they can't keep their nose clean. Whether one has a problem or not with EOBR's isn't the issue. But to be messing up enough that FMCSA comes in and mandates them is. Causes the average thinking person to question what else they are doing wrong that just hasn't been caught yet.

If I understand correctly, the current ownership got "punished" for what had mostly happened prior to them having control and has made vast improvements in safety and personnel towards a better future. EOBR's will be the future of all companies regardless of past or present performance. Also the fact they owned up to the problems and started the process towards repairing what was wrong should speak volume's about their intentions to survive and continue to work towards a solid future!
I know of many companies that are good companies but had a few... or several bad apples ruin it for everyone. Hopefully JBS has it's collective head on straight now and will keep moving forward, If I was looking this would be a top of the list place to work for me!!
