Yeah, owned by Boyd Bros, last I heard....
-
Know anything about them?

I know all about wti and i would like to set the record straight " WTI IS NOT OWNED BY BOYD IN ANY WAY THIS IS A FACT!!!!!!!" WTI and Boyd buy there equipment as a group so they can get voulme discounts WTI is owned by the welborn family they have been close with the boyd family since both first started business in tuscaloosa al. But to answer your question driver they are a good company they pay percentage. You can make money there if you want to work and there home time is great and there saftey rateing is great you can check it out on safersys.org go to comany snap shot and enter wti Transport Tusacloosa al and you can see for yourself.

According to info WTI is in no way owned or operated by Boyd Bros. More so just a buy and sell agreement on trucks to put it in a nutshell. IF they train then I think I'm going to suck it up and try my hand at skateboading. From what I hear WTI is one of the better companies to work for.

Had a couple buddies work for them, they did ok. Said you can make money there but you have to be willing to work. Alot of the loads were 45-46,000 lb.

Is there any drivers out there on their lease program? Very curious to see if its legit. Been hearing many do pay their trucks off in the 2 year time frame. Would like info from drivers in this program specifically. Thanks. PM me if you like!

I haven't worked for WTI but I talked to quite a few of their drivers when I was working for Boyd and where I work right now. NONE had anything bad to say about WTI. Talked to a few lease drivers as well and ALL of them were happy. Was told that their average net pay on the lease after everything was paid (fuel, truck note, tax, tag, title, dock, fees...etc) was around 1100-1300 a week and that was home every weekend on top of that. As for Boyd? Well...some have good and some have bad...mine was bad, but I won't go there. I got a job in a mill and got off the road altogether and now I miss the road and I'm only making half the money. Considering going back out and to me so far WTI is on the top of the list. And they are "sister" companies. Not the same owners.
