I'm thinking about leasing on to the Mason Dixon divison and was wondering if anyone currently leased to them could tell me how they're doing? I live in South Carolina and have a Flatbed w/Sides.
I already know that Matty Moroun owns them along with many other trucking companies and also the Ambassador Bridge so please only people who have been leased to them respond with pertinent information.
I've found some negative posts on them but most appear to be from people who were not ready for "self dispatch" and couldn't adjust to it. I've got 5 years at Landstar and 1.5 years at Dallas Mavis so that wouldn't be a problem for me. I also prefer to work on my own without a coordinator but am not ready to get my own authority yet.
    Thanks in advance.

I am currently a agent for univesal am-can, my husband just retired from this company also. I can say if you have a good dispatcher you can make a lot of money. my husband worked for lanstar also and he hated it and so did I, but he switched and loved it. If you want more information on the company or any help let me know both me and my husband run our agency so your getting advice from a retired driver of 15 yrs. you can talk to me at ymail.com and my name is rocksolidtransport
