P&S Transport - Anybody have any information about this company?

My husband just lost his job with LJ Kennedy and is also in AL today for orientation tomorrow.

 

justant, let me know how your husband likes P&S. mine found another flatbed company closer to home so decided to go with them instead. we were hearing more bad then good about P&S

 

Too bad P&S took on the 2 idiots from jersey who ran LJK into the ground! I am not reffering to your husband.

 

i have been with p&s almost 2 yrs i have a good working relationship with my driving manager they try hard to get ya home when ya ask and pays good to, bad thing is co trucks run 62to 63 mph

 

Would be interested in what things people are saying that is bad.
It may be true, then it may be false, we are talking truck drivers here.

Well considering my husband was going to be taking a pay cut to go to this company, they don't pay very well. Also, the fact that they took the two people that ran JLK into the ground. If they ran the other company into the ground, why would they even want them?? No matter how the company is ran now, it's going to get worse since they took on those two and put them in positions where they can do the same thing to P&S.

 

On P&S Pay, it is percentage of load. Sometimes it really good, sometimes not so good. I know what I make, and its good, really good. So your husband must have been making more than 75K a year.

As to the taking on the people from JKL, have no comment. know nothing about them or what they may have done.

However I do know the owners of the company, they will not let things get out of hand. They almost micro manage too much.

 

My husband made it through orientation..they put him in a 2012 Peterbilt..hasn't made it home yet..we'll see how it goes..did say it was a slow truck

 

The trucks are horribly slow. But his pay should be pretty good at the end of a week. They have good paying freight.
