On a side note, I think I found a grill in Laredo. South side of the admin building by the parking lot. I drove by with the tower and just happened to look over and saw it. I haven't thoroughly scoped it out but it appears to be a charcoal grill...

Im in 146. Just arrived in EP, and now the waiting game starts. Looks like sometime after noon is when ill get empty.
Theres lots of redundancy in this system so I keep forgetting to send my hours or send arrived or empty messages. But ill get it figured out soon enough.

Just a matter of time and repetition.

I got added to the Freeport project. Good news is I'll be home every weekend. Bad news, so I've heard, is they pay us by the mile and it's not very many miles.

Ive heard the same thing about that project, 3 trips one week and 2 the next. Although depending on what step your at, ive heard that someone like me at a 0, would be bumped to a 1 after being on it.

I don't think just being on a project gets you to the next level. I'm pretty sure you still have to meet the load/time requirements.

90 days. Happens automatically. I have a friend on that project but he is able to go home every other weekend and loves it. People who don't live around Houston or Baton Rouge hate it apparently because you will make less money and no oversize hence no moving up levels.

Ahh well tyat probably explains it, cause I think the guy I talked to already had two months in prior to being on the project.
On a side note, man the Laredo yard is out in nowhere land. Lol. I went to the address listed in the truck book, but found out that was the old yard..had to call dispatch to get the new address and almost missed the yard since it was dark and my first time here.
