HOS compliance and maintenance (or lack thereof) are way below adequate!

 

One of there drivers or company just on purpose went out in the field behind a truck stop in OK and took the straps off a "GE" tower section and rolled it into the field , " ABANDING THE LOAD" { have pictures} That will be a big lawsuite so how long will they be in bussines? 3/19/12

 

You escaped a bullet then. My husband worked for them for about 2 months. He was the ONLY minority to work for them and they treated him like dirt. Unlike the rest of the drivers he always had to get prior authorization to use his fuel card to fuel the truck, even after 2 months they still had not given him a truck of his own or sent him any further then Fargo, ND. They train their drivers to fudge their logs so that they appear to stay in compliance with DOT. The dispatcher is a total and complete ******* who doesn't know how to do his job properly. Their trucks are garbage and they don't care about their drivers at all you are all dispensable.

My boyfriend works for novco and he really seems to like it he says dispatch boys are really nice and hes home ever other weekend

 

DONT WORK AT NOVCO!!!! I know many people who have worked at Novco and a few who still do. They are bouncing payroll checks....They are also taking money out of the guys checks for child support, but NOT cutting the checks to the child support workers, so the guys are behind on their child support (and getting in trouble from the state for it). I also know 2 people who have not got their last pay check from them... THEY ARE BAD NEWS!!!!!! STAY FAIR WAY!!!

 

Lol that doesn't surprise me at all. I have seen some bad trucking companies but Novco still takes the cake. I seriously can think of NOTHING good to say about this company. If you want to get experience in knowing what NOT to do then go train with them they'll teach you every dirty trick they know but just remember when you get caught doing what they taught you to do they will hang you out to dry lol. If anyone goes to work for this company you might want to carry a tape recorder and record all conversations and document EVERY thing that deals with them to cover your ##### and sue them later because they are out to get you once they are through using you and they will fire you for some trumped up bs that is nothing but lies. maybe it's not just a race thing as hubby and I first thought it's just a bs company period.
