It took 7 1/2 hrs to get unloaded in ND,which was ok by me.If you get detention,it's nice to get alot. Was empty at 1500 and couldn't believe the load they sent over.680 miles deadhead to Shelby,IA for a 249 mile load to Salina,KS for Thur.0800 Sweet!!Wind was real bad in ND and I was getting 7.3 running 63,have to hussle up the speed to make a 1000 mile trip in 1 1/2 day's.The wind finally slowed down and I'm up to 9.1 running empty at 63.Wish I had more time and could slow down,I think I could be getting well over 10 mpg.Sometimes you just can't run as slow as you want to.This will give me around 1800 miles on Thur and have 5 day's to go.should be a great week I hope.

Happy 4th of July to everybody.

This year we really need to think about what happened all those year's ago.The government(King) was taxing the people at super high rate's and imposing crazy regulation's.It's exactly what's happening right now with our current king (Obama).I urge, take that back,I beg all of you drivers that live in IL,IN,NC,SC,VA,FL,WV,CO to please register to vote and also make sure you're family, friends and co-workers are registered. This is a critical time for our country.Do the early vote if you can't be home,it's easy and your vote truly does count this year.

We as trucker's will be the first to benefit from a booming economy,Isn't that what we all want out here? Plenty of miles, better pay and then more hometime if you want it.If we continue down the path we're on,thing's will become truly horrible for a working man.The 49% of this country that are freeloading off of the rest of us are sure going to vote and we have to stop all this crap.

    God Bless America

Delivered my load in Salina this morning and got a choice of 2 loads Mcpherson,KS to somewhere MO 212 miles or Mcpherson to Davenport,IA to deliver Fri 0800,580 miles.Davenport's the one for me.Stopped in Beto Junction to eat and had another preplan on me for Muscatine,IA to Ardmore,OK for Mon morning 800 miles.Load picks up Fri 1200.So I'm set for the weekend.Wanted a few more miles, but don't we all. That will give me around 3200 for this week.I'm real happy with that considering the holiday on Wed.

Can't complain about that for sure. I will have almost 2700 miles for the week and with all the waiting I have done, I'm not complaining either. Has anyone picked up at Michelin in Greenville Sc? The load is supposed to be ready in the am, but was wondering if anyone knows if they have those loads ready early sometimes. About to go stir crazy here in Sc. lol

I've picked up there and they're real weird about it.The load is probably ready right now but they won't let you have it till the day of,so you can get it at 00:01 tonight. It suck's because I was sitting there just like you are and they would'nt let me have it.I just came back about 0700 the next day and got it.You could go in and try and at least drop you're empty in the gravel lot, where you drop it anyway.I bobtailed back out on 85 and went to Applebee's I think, and had refreshment's,and stayed there the night and went back in the am.

    7-6-12
    Week 32

    Empty Miles 224
    Loaded Miles 4130
    Total Miles 4354

    Revenue 2835.84

    Maint. acct. 304.78

Revenue is after all my expenses including .07/mile into my maint. acct.

Obviously,I didn't run that many miles in 1 week.I didn't turn in 3 trip's last week, because I screwed up,and missed the only truckstop around on Mon night.
