Has anyone been to a JB orientation lately? It seems like there is little or no conversation about JB as of late and I was hoping someone could let me know how their physicals go.

I'm especially curious about this sleep apnea thing that I've read a bit about. Do they really do that during orientation?

Thanks for answering. My husband is scheduled to go in a couple of days and I'd never heard of it until after I started looking around at JB Hunt stuff after he was scheduled to go.

    Thanks again Mr. Pilottravel2002.

Professional-Trucker, is that aimed at JB in general or just the orientation process?

I haven't seen a lot being posted lately about JB, good or bad....hopefully that's a good sign.

Ok, here are some stats- The CSA scores a.k.a. the Dept of Transportation, have J.B. Hunt down on all 5 categories "at or below" 35%. So, safety is a big thing there. Also know that less than 35% of their entire fleet is "otr" wich means short runs and no miles, and that 60% of their fleet is local/intermodal and the rest of it is DCS (dedicated runs servicing one customer only). The BBB (better business bureau) have them set with a score of an A- with a few complaints on service. IMO :biggrin_25513: They tend to "over-hire" to maintain the "service critical accounts covered.:biggrin_2558:
