You can call it negative, I call it making sure someone knows what he's getting into and there are no surprises. Sad fact is, many are not very aware of the massive number of entities and red-tape that have to be dealt with today to run even the smallest business. If he's got a handle on how to PROPERLY start and run a business, and is still comfortable with the risk/profit ratio, then by all means have at it. That is what made this nation great.
However, if we had the amount of regulations and "over-sight" that we have today, beginning 1900 to about 1970, it could be argued that we'd still be living with 1980's technology in 2010, and not knowing any better because of all the limiting hurdles and all of the start-ups that would never have been able to succeed.
Furthermore, if someone is going to cut corners and essentially "fly under the radar", I don't want him out here on the roads with me and my family. I'm not suggesting that's the case here but that's the way I feel.
