yesterday i had to go to Charleston, WV this time i didnt leave without a EZ pass that they said they dont have, they still havent reinbursed me for the $165 they owe me for the 3 times ive done the run n paid cash. The EZ pass was a POS too had to stop a few times and wait for it to read it.

Got back an hour late 630pm becasue the rain made all the idiots do 5mph, funny how i can do 70 with a set at 77,000lbs and be just fine but the cars cant handle to go anywhere near that.

Then worked the dock till 9PM! took 2.5 HOURS to unload 40 pallets! not one person attempted to help (that includes the 6 dock workers....)

I cant remember if i post this but i think it was like tuesday night i took the car to work, and on my way the battery light came on but it still ran fine so i went to work. On my way home it was still on, then the Airbag light comes on, the the tracttion control light, then the ABS, etc until i had 20 lights on the dash...the ac shut off, then the radio cut in and out for a few min then just shut off, the ac fan was comeing on and off and hi and low, then everytime i hit the break the gauges would go out...then the gauges just stoped working entirely (no speedo!) Then it stated to run weird and i needed to go to the store so i pulled into the grocery store and parked in back just in case i needed to tow it. And i shut it off it almost stalled a few times pulling in.

    Anyone figure it out?

I was 99% sure what was wrong by the time i got to the store. I opened the hood to make sure the belt was still there and it was and it was tight. The connections were good n tight no corsosion (new car duh) and i checked the same on the battery and it was good too. So i tried to start it and nothing. Called AAA and he was there 30 secounds after i hung up with them...he happend to be across the street so he came to me before going to the next car that was 10 miles away. He jumped me, then when he disconected the pack the car died, then he tested the battery just to make sure i was right.

And as always AT was right, it was the Alternator the Diode was Stuck Open.

So i had to tow it home, and use the truck all week...

Sooo today i spent 6 HOURS (stupid new cars) replaceing the Alternator and then Rechargeing the AC since i had to take the AC lines off as well as remove the Radiator and a bunch of other stuff just to get it off

$266 and 6 Hours of sweating in the 100* heat, but its done! yay $38 of that was some tools at harbor freight to make the job a little easyer

Them older Hondas always seem to have a few bugs to work out when you first buy one! My 03 civic commuter required a few long nights and trips to the auto store for parts just to keep lights and sensors from going off. Found it to be a simple vehicle to work on though.

I love working on hondas. 10,14 and 17 and you can take the whole car apart.

relatively new to having #### go bad, but i guess there is a risk buying used

Old american cars and pickups are the best to work on. So easy, all mechanical, no computer ****. I am not a fan of imported cars, as a daily driver its a different story, but as a racer or whatever they arent good.

But getting all that power out of a4 banger is pretty cool. No replacement for dispalcement but there are some little 2.4 hondas out there running like 7/8 sec quarter mile times

A lot of these idiots today are putting corvette engines in Hondas and BMWs. It really is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. If you want to build a race car out of that then ok but use the engine or an engine designed for the car, not mix domestic and imported. That way they are admitting American engines are better.

Bringing my firebird to raceway park in nj this weekend. First time running it with rebuilt engine so I want to see what it will do
