LOL!!! Next time just break the set down and move them. Nothing like the Blind leading the blind.

Terminal manager said not to do that i suggested it, he said with our quality of trailers/brakes not to trust the brakes to hold it in place....also it would have been a pita to find a place in downtowwn knoxville to rebuild the set lol.

Sounds like your talking about fedex ground, if so your be working for a contractors most of them run team truck you be home every week. Estes have both team and solo driver, some estes solo linehaul driver have to run extra board which you could be out a week or home every day before you can bid on a set run. estes team driver run OTR terminal to terminal run and home every week.

My bad. Its a reference to one of Trucker Steve's videos. It always cracks me up and I catch my self saying it whenever I see a Swift truck on down the road.

ok so LAST friday i took the day off to get the new car registered and inspected. I got the state inspection done by 8am, then went to get it registered. Spent like 1.5hrs in line only to be told that because the car had an out of state title i had to go to the NC State Police Dept of License and Theft to have it inspected first...ok fine. I call the NC State PD and get the address and head over there. I get there at 10:20am only to be told they stop doing inspections at 10am....are you ########## kidding me! she says "come back on monday" So i had to lose yet another $200 by takeing monday off too.

I got it all taken care of by 1015am monday morning, all good now.

Then on Tuesday i go to work, only to be told i wasnt planned on a load. Then i get a load (my normal run) so i go hook the set, only to be told AFTER building the set that the nashville driver never showed up so they were cancleing the load and sending me to Atlanta which mean i had to build ANOTHER set! WTF! I did make sure i got paid for the 2nd set though.

So i get to atlanta and as im comeing down the hill 50feet in front of the terminal BOOM i blew out a drive tire...great im already 2.5 hrs late, now lets change a freakin tire why dont we...Luckily the atlanta shop doesnt suck balls like ours does so they not only changed that one but the tire next to it in 15 min with 2 BRAND NEW recaps no less!

    Wednesday:

did my normal run, came back unloaded and was out by 730pm

    Thursday:

I come in only to be told yet again no load planned, then they tell me to go chase down a driver in the yard and take his set (two MT's) going to Cleavland, OH so they wasted all that fuel to pull 2 MT's all the way up there rather then just send a bobtail...geniouses i tell ya! I got back then went home, took so long to get out of the terminal with trailer/dolly issues i got back at 730pm..thats when i leave, i'm not playing they're games anymore they can unload theyre own crap that late at night.

When i got up there i STILL had to wait an hour for my load to get there, the other driver was an IDIOT, brought me a set with Placards on BOTH trailers even though only one had Hazmat on it, had a bald trailer tire, and NO LIGHTS on the back trailer...driver claimed the pigtail must have stopped working on the way down....ya right #######!

    Friday:

I get to work, grab a truck, try to fuel...no go, tried 3 times pump wasnt working and only had one nozzle since such dipsheet ripped one off the night before....2 cameras on the pump...yet they can never figure out who keeps ripping them off the pump....

So i hook my set, called dispatch to get permission to go to the pilot to fuel, was told yes, so i go to leave, then they call me back the pump is working so i cant go, so now i had to drop my trailers outside the terminal and bobtail back in, and wait behind 25 trucks to fuel while they all fueled 1 TANK AT A TIME!

THen i did my run, came back unloaded and left at 730....crappy week.

alot more bad and BS happend that i cant remember but oh well
