I was wondering what is available in southern California. I am moving to San Diego, ca and would like to find a gig with more hometime then otr offers. What are some typical dedicated/local jobs around there? Would I be stupid to believe I could find a San Diego to NM or to phx run? Here in the mid south there is plenty of local jobs hauling coal, grain, timber, farm equipment etc...just not sure what industry is around san Diego.

at this time a year is a lot of produce going out from san diego going east.look in the newspaper.
