Go Boyd if you want all the new shiny stuff, a horrible lease program, voted best fleet to drive for, and be passed by a snail, and have Wade ditch about you idleing to recharge the battery APU.
Go Jordon if you don't want that.

I don't much about either, but how can you say Jordan doesn't have "new shiny stuff"? I see them up in PA quite a bit and they have absolutely immaculate trucks and trailers, quite honestly a hell of a lot nicer than Boyd. With that said, again I know nothing else of either, although I see both companies regularly along the I-79/70 corridor around Pittsburgh.

I believe you're right about the dedicated accounts, the recruiter told me they have one in Petersburg, VA,
which isn't that far from home. Only seen a few post on here about them, some good, and some, well, take
    it how you want to.
As far as thier equipment I agree it "looks" to be well maintained.

I run into drivers from both companies on a regular basis. Its very rare to hear drivers complain about either. Jordan has went E-logs and Boyd has been putting them in a few at a time.

I ran with Jordan Carriers recently for 6 months. Left for personal reasons. Awesome company. 43cmp loaded and empty as many miles as you can leagally run. My fleet manager was great always answered his phone night or day. Has a brand new volvo new reitenhouer trailer. When you went to the yard if you needed new straps, binders, chains, bungees you got em, no questions asked. Everyone there was real friendly and pretty easy going. Home every weekend unless stuff goes wrong thrusday or friday. It would be fair to say that 50% of loads are tarped. trucks run from 65-67 depending on your idle time. There is no reason you can not put 750-1100 after taxes and insurance. If your a slime ball or a whiner they won't put up with you for long. If your a good dependable driver you will have 0 issues. Good luck!
