I am a driver and I haven't recruited anyone. I am also leaving in a couple of weeks for a new gig, because I want to get more involved in the show truck circuit with an older ride, and it doesn't fit into the model of how Foodliner cycles equipment. Nothing more, nothing less. The petty grievances of day to day operations are just that.

But, in parting, I have nothing bad to say about the company. They treated me well, I treated them well. It's a wash.

It's kind of like this analogy. If you end a relationship with a woman, and you do it with dignity - you remain friends. :biggrin_255:

Maybe you should start living life without that bitter attitude, and you'll be amazed at how people react to you.

    Peace.

Thanks for the advice, but completely at peace with myself. I think where u and I differ is I like it plain and simple, straight to the point, it is what it is. You tend to speak your peace in parables and analogies, but in doing so the true meaning of what you are saying still comes through, maybe a bit softer but still the same. Thats why when u slammed me a while back and make incorrect assumptions the intent was the same. You should keep in mind that we aint all cut from the same mold. :)

Good luck to you and thanks for your service. I am also a veteran. Keep us posted on how FL treats u but be careful "Hogboy" is FL mgmt and he may be watching what u say and it may get back to FL. If you have questions contact me directly instead of on a post. Again, good luck to you.

Yes, good luck to you too boostedtrucker. I've never tried to hide that i'm not a full time trucker. But to say i'm "mgmt" is not entirely true. I don't listen and post out here to be a tattle tale. I just believe there are 2 sides to every story, and I like all sides to be heard. you'll never see me out hear boasting that Foodliner is the best place around. We've got our problems like anyone else. Some of our locations are better than others to work at, but that's because of people, not the company in my opinion. Most companies are relatively the same, its the people that make the difference. You can have the best paying job, but if you're treated like garbage you won't stay. But if you're treated with honesty and respected for what you do it makes the difference.... And I know that doesn't happen here, everyday, for every driver, and that's disappointing. But some of us try.

Smooth shifter, one of the best guys I know out there. A guy that puts that much sweat equity into a company truck to make it beautiful is hard to find these days. I hate to see him go but respect his reasons and wish him the best of luck out there.

I ran into a Foodliner driver in Newington, CT yesterday and he really left the impression on me that he was very happy. And this morning, I did a little research and see that Foodliner shows having a location at Stuarts Draft, VA. and I would like to find out a little more about their operation out of Stuarts Draft. I would suspect it would be for Hershey. Can any Foodliner driver shed any light on this??

Couple loads a week out of Hershey go there but wouldn't be a home daily thing. Probably a weekly run and then home....

Appreciate that! I know that at one time E.R. Ewell was hauling in or out of there. Didn't know maybe Foodliner took the account or not.

I'm not for sure on that.... But i'm pretty sure Foodliner and Ewell go back and forth on several accounts.
