Ummmmm the trucks are alittle tight. Mid rood double bunks. My trainer had a midroof 9400. He said the prostars have alittle more room but he had alit of little electrical problems with his prostar so he got an older 9400. I had a LARGE duffle bag with pretty much a months worth of clothes, good sized back pack, another duffle bag with my rain gear, boots,cb. Then my sleeping bag and pillow. Once i laid my sleeping bag out and put all my junk on the bunk it wasnt bad. I thought i had packed too much myself lol. Which is why i left it all in Monaca when i came home for the holidays. But better to have alittle more than not enough.

Update: I went to the bus station to begin my 17hr ride to PA. Turns out my ticket was payed for but never booked. Smash cut to the lady behind the counter telling me the last seat was just reserved by the guy before me and the next bus with open seats is Monday arriving Tuesday afternoon. Obviously this will not cut it as I have to be there Monday morning bright and early to begin. I was able to book a flight up there for tomorrow morning for the low low price of $350 payed for by me. I know they will pay me back the amount of the bus ticket, wooooo $80, but what about the rest? I could not reach my recruiter so I just bought the ticket and hopefully they will pay the full ticket because it was not my choice to fly, and it is their fault. So either way it is a bumpy start to my adventure, but I still feel really good about my choice to go with them. I will post more as it unfolds.

Thats the bad thing about grey hound. The conf# isnt a booked ticket. You dont get your ticket untill you take the conf # to the counter. Plus today is the worst day for the bus. Everyone going back home from thanksgiving.

Well I wish someone would have told me that before I got there. Oh well I have never rode on a bus and hopefully never will. It seemed like it was going to be a terrible experience anyway.

Geez, worse thing you could ever do is ride a Greydog. It was a 30 hour busride for me. Met 2 drivers on the way to orientation at CR England. We had a kid go nuts and confront the busdriver because he thought the busdriver was lost. I'm sure glad those England recruits were there.

It seems that every weirdo on the planet is on a Greydog. This girl sat next to me with this baby that never moved. Never. The whole night. I was thinking, "Is this girl carrying around a dead baby?"

If I can help it, I will NEVER, N-E-V-E-R, ever ride a Greydog again.

I have ridden the grey dog many times and have seen those people. If you are sorta chunky like I am, people will not sit with you unless they have too. Fortunately for me. Good luck with adventure at PGT and thanks for your service to the op.
