Are you nuts????? There is no money in being a gypsy. And all you are going to see is traffic jams, truck stops, factories and warehouses. When you are on the road there isn't any time for sight seeing. And if you did find time to stop, you will find that most of the time there isn't any place to park the truck.

Well South Florida is your first problem.... Lots of stuff goes in, not lots goes out. Your dog will need another home while your with the trainer 4 - 6 weeks. Your better off making Texas your home, lots more options for companies.

Driving a truck for a living is not easy, but if it is something you would like to try....go for it. You will see a lot of the country. I know I did. There is nothing like the sunsets in NM and AZ. There is nothing as beautiful as the mountains in CO. There are nasty truck stops, and nice truck stops. What you want to see out there is exactly what you will find. First it is a job, second it is a lifestyle, third it is what you make it. I had a lot of fun when I was out there. I did a lot of cooking in the truck and I took a lot of pics. If you know what you want to do with your life, do it, don't let anyone try to alter your path. You make the decisions for you! US Xpress will let you take a pet, but not until after training is over. I am not sure if Werner will let you or not. They usually tell you on their webpage.

Beautiful.....I will miss them much when I move to Cedar City, Utah in 2 weeks. But I will come back and visit as much as possible. In June I already have a salmon shark fishing trip planned with my Dad and I. Will only come up for 3 days, but it's worth, also I seem to have a knack for finding cheap airline tickets so it helps.
