They came to my school. I didn't like them because they aren't going to cover all the states. let me see if i can scan the paper.

All I know is that they deliver plants and it's driver unload. Other than that I was told by my instructor that they don't have a lot of capital behind them. I guess they ordered 5 brand new white Internationals and when it came time to actually buy them they didn't have the money and Roehl Transport ended up buying them. Take that for whatever it's worth, otherwise I've heard that they aren't a bad company from a few people.

really? okay - I would not go near them with the safety data and driver & vehicle OOS numbers or the fatigued driver numbers, but, that's just me. Good luck, though.

There's a guy that posts on here that highly recommends Windy Hill & Armenilli(sp) for students. Both team operations & both haul live plants. It is posters Chompi or Dinomite that recommend them. Do a search for those guys.

I wasn't impressed with Windy Hill when they came to the school I went to. Pay was .29 CPM and you could get a few CPM bonuses if you didn't go out of route, etc. biggest turn off was the one year contract stating if you didn't stay employed with then for one year, you were liable for all expenses during your training to include fuel. Did a google search last year when i was lookibg at them and couldn't find anything good about them, only person I ever see recommending them is Chompi.

Form your own opinion on them, you might have a completely different experience with them.

They are NOT a team operation.

    that's for sure !!

Here's my experience with Windy Hill...I called the recruiter and he said" We'd love to talk with you...we dont have glass seperating our drivers from the staff like the big mega carriers do...Come on down !" Sooo...I did...I live in Wisc. and went down and saw the operation...The term " Cluster### came to mind..But Hey that might be trucking in general...I'm a newbie..just starting out.Very nice people though...I saw the trucks...were OK. I asked if I could speak to a couple of current drivers...which they gave me NP. I called'em both later....They both loved the company. They deliver or you deliver...plants from Fla. to all the major retailers all over...the end up in Wisc. and back haul back to Fla. 2000-2500 miles/week @ .30/mile with $25.00/stop...20-25 stops per load...you can do the math.

I've always gone with ...Image,attitude and my gut impressions...I passed !

    Hope that helps Capt !
