Find a small outfit with a few trucks, get 6 months to a year of OTR in.

Yeah I'd call them at least and see. Even if you had to suck it up and go out with a trainer I doubt they'd make you do the whole 6 weeks. It'd be worth it in the longer term if you want to go back OTR.

Wind , yes you can sign on your own truck, few restrictions , year and condition are the two main ones. And he was talking about the north east bonus. So your base pay + 10 cpm . And the L/O program is one of the best I had looked at. Longest lease I have seen is 36 months , with a 1 dollar buy out. Some run the truck till its worn out then sell on used market. Some buy out and sign another lease and sell their truck and bank some cash. The company has been very good to /for me !I was on the waiting list to lease when asked to train. Looks like a sweet deal. The one I would had bought , had a fresh overhaul !

I said O/O...NOT L/O! Lease, doesn't get anything but the extra .10 per loaded mile on NE runs. O/O...meaning Owner Operator, when you bring your OWN truck(Just gotta be specific sometimes, NOT being sarcastic in any way! Excuse me.) gets an extra .02 on miles driven from what the regular payscale is. Now, if you run into the NE, which I LOVE(haha), then tack on an additional .10 a mile PER LOADED MILE! Hope this helps.

Yes, that's why I asked. Many people use O/O and L/O interchangeably, so I was asking for clarification :)
