generally its been my experience that everyone that works for a company with the word farms in the name has had a bad experience
-
Not always but not uncommon at all. I cant get a full-time spot because i supposedly dont have enough experience, but they gave somebody a position with the same training as me. Not enough experience didnt matter when they wanted me to cover the tanker and had no experience at all.
-
I see Rugerfn? That advice was not very educational or helpful at all since you have no experience with this company, thanks for your input.
Squeegee the position I was typing about is hauling reefer units, I guess tankers could also be discussed here. -
Oh ok, the company i work, the reefer guys are happy, great pay, bennys and equipment. Decent hometime as well. I'm on the local side which is a different ballgame.
-
Ok, yes this is also a local gig no travel.

They are like HP Hood milk company. Based out of Franklin Mass. They bought up a bunch of small milk companies around New England. Don't know about their employment though. Tankers and reefers.
HouseOfPain Thanks this. -
THey're always running...think they have a big terminal/plant up in Bellingham MA also. Haven't heard anything bad about them, but then they don't stop running long enough to get a word in edgewise. Lots of daycabs, so I suspect most go home daily.
HouseOfPain Thanks this. -
Yes Jpenn all home time. I guess I'll search for hp hood see what the procedures are. I'm wondering if these reefers are going to mom & pop stores or big chain super markets.
