They will mess with your pay, ask u to run illegal on ELOGS and blame you if anything goes bad.... heavy freight, slow trucks. They charge you an escrow account for "incidentals" that theysay they will repay 45 days after you leave as long as you return all your assigned stuff and truck to approved location clean and in good shape.... not gonna get that back either.... everyone I have ever met that worked there had bad experience, me.... never got tothe door, to much bs from recruiter for my taste....
Good luck if you go!!! (you'll need it)

Went to the first day of orientation and left at lunch, now there's a bad report on my DAC saying I got in a wreck!! They're a bunch of low life's.

How in the hell can a company lie like that? It should be easy to get removed from your DAC, but still...

I'm not horribly worried about it because I'm local now and not OTR and not many local companies care about your DAC report, I've called CF and they seem to not know about it...funny I think.

The one thing that makes me wonder about the people talking smack about carroll fulmer..are the one's who are not employed by them...I havent really heard from an actual employee just yet...I want their info about the company..Is it a Good company or a bad company..All I get is, I heard from this guy and that guy that works from them...not the guy himself or herself..ok for one, Think about trucking in general on how its changed throughout history...There's over 8 million semi's on the road today if not more...and you're gonna have ticked off drivers, but the one's who aren't getting on this site are probably the one's that are successful in making money..now I maybe downing myself a little on this one...cause Im doing the same thing but im not defending the company by any means..Im curious as much as the next person..the only way Im gonna get my true reviews from Carroll Fulmer is go to work for them..same as I did with Transport America, Celadon, and U.S. Xpress...not that im dogging the companies entirely but they did do some illegal stuff..and I guess Carroll Fulmer would be in that same category but then again maybe not..I dont know..But if you give your 100% all to a company and do it legally? you shouldn't have a problem with no trucking company..They have to feel you out just as much as you have to feel them out...and if you do our part to make them money...they are gonna treat you right by any means..I know because I literally screwed up with one company who wasnt the best but they did run me like a dog..I even ran loads that went as far as california all the way to north carolina on one run...now talk about sweet runs..But the best thing Ive learned in driving a truck is keeping my mouth shut and be respectful to others because if you dont, you can get eventually crapped on in the long run..like making you sit for days or weeks, or when you curse out and dog the company entirely they will put you in situations where they know you will fail..just becareful on what you say and what you do..Its the Trucking industry. It changes frequently so go along with the flow.

and Im not being a smartalic or greenhorn in my replies..Guys Im a 3rd Generation Truck Driver and Ive rode up and down these roads with my daddy and grandaddy just about all my life..My Biggest concern is the amount of lying, cut throating, and dis-honesty the Drivers do..you get a darn thing such as a Qualcomm on your truck and you think in the back of your mind..that youre rushed to get to that point of delivery..When you see another Driver blow out his trailer tires..I wonder how many of you truly pull over to help that guy out? or see a car stuck in a ditch? do you pull over or just drive off?
I helped a 16 year old boy out in the middle of a fog in missouri at night cause he was stuck on the side of the road..called 911 immediately..the first thing that came to my mind was...that couldve been my son..couldve been yours..Thats being a respected driver....I took over my Daddy's CB handle (southern shaker) in commemoration of my father..for you guys whose been on these roads you might have heard of him.. To me he was dad, to others he was a friend...Instead of moaning and griping about trucking industries..Be proud of what you do..cause you are the backbone of the world's daily lives..
