To anybody considering to go to work for ELS, LLC. DONT DO IT. I have been a driver, and owner op and a small fleet owner. This is the worse job ever in 35 years. I found the job on craigslist.com I called and spoke with Brett. I asked him to be straight up with me, do not sugar coat anything. Brett told me, I could make 1200, 1300, 1400 a week or more as long as I would stay out for 2 weeks, he offered me a co. driving job or a lease purchase job. I told him I had been an owner op for years and wanted to become a company driver, he said that wouldn't be a problem but if you decide to do a lease purchase than I would make 2800, 3000 or more a week after ALL expenses. So I went to work for them. In orientation I was told by Timothy that I would make around 1200, 1300 a week I said great all I needed was 1000. He said , than youll really be happy here you'll never make less than 1000. Kool, I thought.
so I get my first pay, no taxes taken out, they charged me my workers comp, they charged me an escrow, and charged me to transflo their paperwork to them, WTF I am a company driver, I filled out a w4 form and charging me for workers comp, what are you crazy. After arguing 4 weeks I was refunded
my workers comp, and they stopped charging me for transflo, the transflo was because I started emailing it to them instead of using transflo. They REFUSED to with hold taxes, and my paychecks as a company driver was around 800.00 a week, now after I take taxes out of that and take 100-150.00 a week for expenses on the road that left me with nothing, so than I tried a lease purchase, 2015 Freightliner Coronado glider kit. I paid 1600.00 per week plus fuel plus tolls. The 1600.00 per week included 3 escrows, trailer rent of 200.00 a week plus any repairs and services done to the trailer, plus any permits for all the over size loads. I would gross 6000.00 and some checks were 600.00, 700.00 a couple I owed them over 700.00. I argued with them every week about my revenue and finally I was told, well its the area you live in, wow the area I lived in was no problem when I talked to Brett about the job he had posted on craigslist, but now its a problem. Timothy was the only person at this company that seemed to give a ####, but his hands were tied. This is a #### job, they are all liars they get a fuel discount at pilot/flying, petro and T/A but do not pass it on to the driver paying for the fuel, tarp pay is included in the rate, when I asked 3 customers if they paid for tarping, one told me yes we paid 250.00 for tarp another told me 175.00 and another told me ELS is paid for tarping don't ##### at her for having to tarp and ELS doesn't pay you because we pay ELS. half the loads have a fsc, funny every load I did as a company driver had a fsc, as a lease purchase only about half, they say there is no forced dispatch but I was #####ed at for wanting to refuse 2 loads.

Look drivers this job may be good for you, but I doubt it. You have been warned.

Yes I have contacted OOIDA, I am a life member of OOIDA, I have also contacted my attorney. These guys are nothing more than a bunch of ......... well I cant post that on here. I just hope that drivers see and read these post before going to work for ELS

 

I started driving for these guys in May, since, my last settlement shows that I made 30,000.00 net after all their deductions I cleared 9000.00.
Now you tell me I had a brand new truck that didn't require repairs and had it needed repairs it was covered under warranty. I also had a driver escrow total of 2000.00 so far, for what. They have insurance, an equipment escrow lol.........
And than when a driver needs to have a truck serviced they charge 100.00 to give you money out of your account, and they require you to get it serviced where they tell you because when they are invoiced they get a discount that's not passed on to the driver, what a deal.

Had I stayed and stuck it out for the 5 years I would have given them over 400,000.00 plus the 25 percent they keep plus the fsc that they get and don't pass it on to me, plus the fuel discount they get that isn't passed on to me.
I will not get my escrow money from them any money they have taken from me and put into an account ELS will keep.
I have been trucking since 1979, they think I am just a ####### truck driver. I have news for them. I have so many contacts at the FMCSA, I also ran 2 log books, a real log book that was illegal as heck and the one I turned in to look like it was right. Plus a qual com that tracks my movement. The FMCSA just doesn't slap a fine on companies today, they fine you and revoke your authority.

I have 7 contacts in DC at the FMCSA and 1 in NC. Bet in a couple months they will be audited and shut down, I may never see the money they have stole off me but there customers will soon learn how bad of a carrier they are and there unsafe practices, These are big world wide customers that will not do business with such a scab trucking company. I will spend all the time in the world getting even with ELS, That you can count on. KARMA, is a M-F'er brought to by David Stottlemire.

These guys didn't take taxes out of my check and was taking workman scoop out of my check Bret and his dad and Timothy are all scammers and liars they did not give me my escrow and I was company driver they put in crappy hotel there the sorry company I ever work for and held my check when I was sick
