Hey guys...I found very little information here about Bell Trucking out of Shoemakersville, PA. The bits I did find were positive though. Just curious if anyone here currently drives for them or knows anyone who does? Just trying to find out any information I can before I give them a call. They have an ad posted on craigslist looking for drivers.
Thanks,
Steve

Good small company. Teams and solos. I almost went there but I went to Gordon because I want to run the NW. Nice trucks and they are pretty down to earth to. I think they run 70 as well.
rabbiporkchop, born&raisedintheusa and SteveB Thank this. -

Any time. I know a few guys over there, and I've also know the recruiter a little bit. She's very nice and straight forward. I think you'll like it there.

Getting the truth up front from a recruiter is a rare thing...that says a lot right there about the company. I also like the fact you said it's a small company. It would be nice not to be thought of as just another body on the payroll. Do they only have 1 recruiter there?

I would call first. They have a cl ad here in south east mo but when i called, they said they couldnt get me home. Kinda defeats the purpose of the ad down here.

"Round trip dispatch from Eastern PA to Midwest/Midsouth/Texas/West Coast" I'm going to call them Monday and see if this is on the up and up because I'm looking for a company that runs this area.

You went to Gordon?? I thought you were still working for Lessors? You spoke so highly of that company, I thought you would still be there.

I finally was able to speak with the recruiter from Bell this past Friday (5/3/13). She was a very nice person, and just like joseph1135 said she was straight forward and honest with me. I like everything they had to offer as far as how they run the company. It is nice that it is a small family owned company. I think she said they run 36 total trucks. Unfortunately with my current situation, I don't think it will be a good fit for me. But based on our conversation, I would recommend anybody interested to give them a call. They seem like the kind of company you could go to and stay for many years!!
