Daly's Truck Driving School vs. Georgia Driving Academy

Instead of going through company sponsered CDL training I found out that I qualify for funding through WIA. I will be starting school within a few weeks. Does anyone recommend a CDL school in Georgia? I have looked at Daly's Truck Driving School in Buford and I am looking at Georgia Driving Academy in Conyers. Anyone hear anything about these programs? Is there another program in Georgia I should consider? Any experiences would be appreciated.

I have looked into a few Technical Colleges and they seemed to have very good programs. The only draw back for me is that the summer semester for the programs start at the end of June and I will not complete the program until mid September. The courses last a little over 2 months. Financially I would not make it until September.

If you qualify for WIA you may also qualify for a stipend they provide to help you survive financialy while you are in school. The tech schools (colleges, as they are now certified) offer some of the best training around. Chedk into them a little deeper, they may be just what you need and you won't be liable to any particular trucking company for the training.

Best of luck,

I just graduated from GDA, I think you should go have a look at both schools. I don't know about Daly's , but if you have any questions about GDA I could answer them.
