I've got a mr.coffee keurig coffee maker, single cup. Works fine in my home but will not make a cup in my truck. I have a 1800 watt inverter and the truck idling, it will not heat the water. My trainer had one in his truck with a 1500 watt inverter and he made 3-4 cups a day. Can't figure out why this one wont heat up, THANKS for any help.

Probably because your inverter in not putting out a pure sine wave and your coffee maker does not like it . google pure sine wave and it will tell you all about it .

It may also be that your inverter has an 1800 watt maximum rating and somewhat less of a sustained rating. I personally don't think a coffee maker would care about sine wave or not sine wave, but who knows.

    Good luck,
