| Stay away from CRST. Don't know about Lisa or Millis. Snidey would be a good choice if you can't pay your own school. My advise would be fund your own school and have better options. Money is there, but you have to work up to it. Some flatbed co's avg $52,000 or over the first year. Kind of hard to say, but I tell most newbies expect 35-40 grand the first year. Depends on you and the company. First year is the worst due to riding with a trainer, learning the lanes and ropes of the trade. After that if you don't bail it picks up.

| Thanks again. Hello: I will look into finding a trucking school near to me. I know there is one in Brooklyn and one in the Bronx. I will see how much they want for the summer training since I am off. It if is too much I will probably try to go with Schneider. I don't mind 35 - 40 since that is a good salary for starting pay. Most non-trucking companies out there (as advertised on monster.com and careerbuilder) offer you a base of $35K. Then they say you can make the rest on commission. Do you know how hard it is to make commissions? I worked in real estate for a year and 6 months, worked 7 days a week, sometimes 12-15 hours a day and made a few deals. Some months I made no money and I had no base salary. They fill your heads with nonsense of how much money you can make, but they don't tell you the hard truth of how hard it is to make that money. Also if I start with a CDL from a school, then who should I start with? Thanks again. I will look into everything you told me. John |

| Your welcome! I am not from your neck of the woods. I am not sure of the companies that hire up in there. Should be a lot to choose from though.
