Any Advice is Appreciated

Got an conditional job offer from Schneider but am not sure if I will take it.The dilemma is, I was quoted after orientation and a 2 week otr with a t/e, solo would start at 23 cpm on a dedicated route.wtf...23cpm???
Hell, even Swift which I also have a pre-hire with offers 26cpm solo after
otr training.

Any advice out there?Maybe there are better companies I don't know about out there?

Yes, I have my CDL but want to make good money quickly with a company.Starting at 23 cpm doesn't seem like a good option, it's more like taking advantage to me.

Cool

I'm gonna get raked over the coals for this one...but here goes.

I would recommend Swift or JB.

This is based purely on your location...no other reason.

S. Cal, I don't know how far south you are...has a tremendous amount of freight that goes east. Many of the Swift and JB drivers from that area, simply relay freight to AZ, then return to their home terminal.

If OTR is what you are looking for, then I recommend taking a look elsewhere. Search the board, and check into some of the better discussed ones and go from there.

Good Luck
