    Gentlemen I,m an exp. driver in N.E. Pa. looking for a flatbed outfit to hire on with O/O or company problem no flatbed exp. any suggestions. Thanks in advance all advice welcome.

    System Transport or Melton Truck Lines; both will train you and both hire out of PA.

    Edit : Both companies trucks have APU's.

    Any flatbed co. will hire you with 20 years driving exp. (They will then train you on load securement and tarping) I'd look into Keen transport. I don't know where in NE PA you live (I'm in Schuylkill County) They have a terminal down in Carlisle and do heavy haul kind of stuff,which I bet will pay rather well,once you're trained in proper securement. Their website says 2 years OTR exp. for requirements. www.keentransport.com Good luck in your search!

    Last I checked keen wanted like 2 years fb exp. do y'all know if they changed that recently?

    If I wasn't with Melton my next choice would be lone star. Heard a lot of good from their drivers.

    Try Gypsum Express, they have a terminal in Baldwinsville NY. If you go with them I could use a reference bonus!
