I realize this thread is kind of old, but I'll put my $.02 in. I worked for TSI (Trans-System Inc) for quite a while (on a couple different occasions) and I have to say I liked it there. They took decent care of me. Of course, it didn't hurt that I was on the pole fleet which is one of their specialized divisions. Now, keep in mind that it's been about six years since I left, but I still keep in touch with folks there.

They have several divisions so you can kind of choose. They run all 48 + Canada, plus they have a heavyhaul division that runs the western states. The pole division was where I was and they pushed to get you back to the Northwest as quick as they could to reload. I don't know about now, but they had terminals in Gary, IN, French Camp, CA, Fontana, CA, Spokane, WA (main terminal) and a small office in Waynesboro, MS. I was happy with them while I was there, but it's been a few years. They had just started up a boat hauling division when I left.

I live in Spokane and many people speak very highly of them and say they are "good people". I went to a "open house" for a truck driving school and they were one of the speakers. Very professional and straight forward. One of the people at the open house stated that his son works for them and has for many years. Left for a while and went right back. Seemed to me that their starting pay (even for a newbie) was low (.27 if I remember). Maybe there is more to it or things have changed? I took a deliver driver job instead, but if I were to go to school and get a class A, I would certainly apply with them.

Yep, good people. My wife and I both worked for them. That's where we met. She worked in Safety handling cargo claims and I, of course, was a driver. While neither one of us has any current affiliation with them, we still have friends that work there. I was a PC tech for them after I got hurt and got out of the truck (after working as an instructor at their school), so I know folks from both sides of the fence. I'd drive for them again without hesitation.
