Can't seem to find much anywhere on their pay.
    See they're hiring in Knoxville.

What do they pay for local and regional drivers for say for 1 year exp?
Website lists 1 year or 50k miles min.
Any drivers out there whom work for them have any comments?

    Thanks

I dont know for certain but I would say they pay in the neighborhood of .57 cpm $22.00+ hour..my neighbor retired from there and had nothing bad to say except the trucks were pretty common but money and bennies made up for it ..

Teamsters Union, pretty good pension deal.

Usually they already know who they're going to hire; they just run the ads to avoid discrimination or nepotism lawsuits. Majority of the drivers they hire are off their own docks or other inhouse hires or hire from other union trucking companies.

Where have you been for the last 8 years? They are part of the YRC crew, and still not paying into the pension.

The reason they are hiring all the time is because the equipment is crap, the pay sucks and they don't have enough help, so they work you like a dog.

The pay is Union scale, but you will start out at 85 percent. On top of that, they still have the 15 percent give back. When I investigated going to work for them, it was going to be about $16 an hour.

I know, I worked for TNT Logistics, USF Logistics, YRC Logistics all at the same terminal just kept changing names. They were all non-union divisions. I left there 8 years ago and what I posted is they way it was then and the way it still is with most union companies.

Around the union terminals the union workers are extremely adversarial toward management, part time employees, non-union drivers, and each other. Very tense and stressful being around them; horrible working environment. They lose their perspective as to why they have jobs which is to support their families and have a decent standart of living; instead they seem to feel the whole world and universe was created for the sole purpose of destroying them & they stay at war in their own minds, with the universe.

Go to truckingboards.com more of a LTL site a lot of Holland drivers go there. Be able to answer your questions. I work at USF Reddaway and I like this job we operate different though. One thing I do know you'll be busy there. Good luck!

That is true, their trucks don't look younger than 10 years old.
    CSA scores reflect that...

im at the bottom of the payscale..looking at my paycheck right now, it comes out to 20.76 per hr, then you have to do some math (multiply it by .15) which comes to 3.114..so the starting pay is 17.65. not too bad of a paycheck, especially with the boatloads of overtime.. they definitely work you like a dog. the equipment is old, it is maintained pretty decent for how old they are and how many miles are on these trucks (avg around 1 million miles). a lot of drivers have quit from what I have been told, with the paycut and the 25% pension there have been plenty of drivers who see greener grass elsewhere.

I like it here though, eventually I will be on the board as long as I don't mess up and whos to say it wont get better, there will be another contract after this one expires and if the financials improve, all boats will rise.

That is an oxymoron. The unions have been robbing from those pensions. Worked for a union once and never will again. I was paying them as much as I ended up taking home.
