I am a driver with a year and some change of experience

I'm trying to look for a job and even though I have dozens of offers I don't know who to choose or where to go

I have my CDL (obviously) with X and T Endorsements and I'd like to use them. I also have a passport

my biggest issue is I have 3 terminations but none of those companies really told me why,

preferably I'd like to use those endorsements but I have a feeling that's going to be impossible

    I would like to use e-Logs (non-negotiable)
I would like to take the truck home
I am fine with making 30CPM, it seems like that seems to be standard
I do NOT want an APU
I do want OTR, regional isn't interesting to me
I am fine with being home 4 days a month
I will NOT run teams (no idea why CRST acts like this is a selling point)
and I will NOT run an automatic Transmission

if I'm being too picky please let me know I am willing to negotiate most of these items

I appreciate all of your help, thank you

well there must be something you at least have an idea about
if you have been terminated by all 3 companies
anything that limits your options will be unreasonable until your sought after
    and not looking for work

seems if your willing to settle for $.30 almost any company will do
companies would love drivers not to demand Apu's and the comfort they provide
i traded lousy pay with an Apu for good pay and a battery heater
    i miss my Apu

Just because a truck has an APU, doesn't mean you have to use it.Yes, you're being too picky. I think you got fired because you're hardheaded and opinionated and maybe an ex-con that didn't reveal that on the application. Trust me, I have nothing against ex-cons, empathy, but it's a big no-no not to reveal it to a trucking company. You still have a chance to drive, but you may not like the choices.

In response to why you don't know the reason for being terminated, here is my interpretation.

The EEOC allows for a probation period of up to ninety days for newly hired employees. As long as the employer's don't violate anti-discrimination laws they may terminate with or without cause or justification. General practice of termination is however to document the reason for separation for the employee file stating the date and reason voluntary or involuntary including a provision as to rehire or not.

Basically, they are only suppose to offer other potential employers the dates of employment, the rate of pay, and if you are eligible for rehire. What they are not suppose to say is why you where terminated unless you grant them access by signing a release form. IF you sign one, and most trucking companys require you do, then your personnel or employment records including behavior and poor performance or attitude can be open for discussion.

It should also be noted that most companies human resources policies allow at least one verbal and one written warning before the final warning which may include termination.

Getting around the references of you past three employers separation becomes a challenge to say the least!

Just fill out as many applications you can as soon as you can and you will find some company that will take you on as a company driver. However, it might be a bottom feeder and that's ok for now, you need to prove yourself beyond being a rookie for-hire.

I'm not judging him, just speculating. I'll try my best to help him find a job. I avoid being judgemental, but we need to see the big picture if we're going to help him get back to work. If we can tease some details out of him, we may have him back on the road in a few days.
