I was all dead set on making my choice with Melton regardless of the complaints Ive read. Then I have a sit down meet with a field recruiter today from TMC....he shows me some things and then now Im doubting my choice. TMC really "looks" like a solid place to start, maybe even stick with.
I thought I had my mind made up....Now not so much

Do a list of pros and cons of each company. Research, research, research.
Puppage and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
Ive done a pros and cons of all three companies Im seriously considering. Boyd Bros, Melton, or TMC. They all have their advantages. But im not seeing a whole lot of cons with TMC.

I see TMC trucks daily going to/from Worthington Industries here in Columbus. Have yet to see one that would even qualify as " a little dirty". Nice looking trucks. I like the long nose Petes.

Driver cams at Melton would be a deal breaker for me.

Yep, heard they are pretty strict about cleanliness......

I drove for Melton and loved it. If I did not leave driving full time to take a gig at home I would still be driving for them. They really care about the trucks and equipment. I never had a problem with my driver managers and the company always did what they said they where doing and seem to be more fair on paid miles verse miles driven of any company I worked with. The cameras where annoying but you learn to forget about it. Saved me a few times when someone called in and said I almost hit them. I had to slam on the brakes and the camera backed me up that they swerved into my lane and almost hit me. So I had mixed feelings about the camera.

Boyd Bros has been really good to us. As for the cams they use there, once you have no issues for 6 mths they will remove it.
