answered my own questions , they require one year of experience to drive solo (I dont have a year) and you MUST team for 6 months anything short of that experience

team pays in training /and with a coach .18 per mile
team mandatory for 6 months at .20 per mile

companies that don't disclose that before asking a applicant to complete a application online taking valuable time have something to hide not one mention in their ad about 1 yr to drive solo nor that they are all about TEAMS ...advertising at its finest and I wondered why they are ALWAYS hiring or should I say looking

bottom line not for me thanks

if anyone else knows of a auto tranny company besides Trans Am in florida please pass it on

I just finished orientation there. It wasn't until the last day of orientation that we actually got to the contract. Fortunately it's included in the literature we were given on Day Two, and I took it home to look it over. It looked quite a bit scary to me, partly I'm sure because I'm unfamiliar with 1099 work, but there were quite a few other items in that contract that scared the hell out of me:

    • Drivers purchase their own Worker's Comp insurance and liability insurance.

    • Driver is responsible for loss or damaged product if such loss is due to driver negligence "or alleged negligence."

    • The insurance offered to drivers is not "Obamacare-qualified" to satisfy the new health care laws, but supplemental insurance like Aflac or other supplemental products.

I asked to negotiate some changes to the contract and waited all day while they took my request all the way to the top of the food chain... and the answer was NO. I didn't sign the contract, needless to say. I was the only one in Orientation that didn't.
