Best ltl companies, Saia or Dayton

    Currently at Saia but have a job offer at Dayton. I'm at max pay right and do city work, but undecided. Anyone work for Dayton and Saia and what do they prefer, Saia pays ot at 45 and Dayton at 40,? Any input would be awesome

    From everything I hear SAIA is pretty good nowadays. I don't know anything about Dayton, must be a regional company. Why not stay where you are, do you not like it there?

    Also so you may get more replies in the LTL section, good luck!

    Dayton start 20.1 at 2 years 24.1. Nice equipment, easy management. Work 50 hours a week in MI. Even in the winter. Line haul drivers here make 80-103k all based on seniority.

    Just my opinion, but I hope anyone wouldn't base a decision to jump ship entirely on that 5 hours of OT.
