do you do NE or NYcity runs? I heard they pay better but is it worth it? do they get you back fast if you go to maine for example? I see u are at your computer so I just take advantage of the situation .

    thx

oh you'll go to the northeast so much you won't need a map anymore lol. at least getting in and out of wherever you're going and company directions to the customers once you get off the big road are generally pretty good. no forced NYC but you'll hit all around it and close to it you're going to think you're there sometimes anyway. you get a .10 bonus to run points north of DC and all of Pa loaded miles only. it adds up quick if you get a few up there, especially if you pick up down south and run up there. generally you get back down as quick as you go up not very often you'll just run around up there but once in awhile it happens. not much maine been there once in 21 months but dropped in plainfield ct and ran up to poland springs, maine for a load of water and it was a #### good run coming back out of there.....don't remember where i took it but do remember it was 1000+..... regular customers in Ct, NH, Ma, NY state, especially upstate in and around syracuse but i've picked up or dropped from one end of NY state to the other as well..... and to a lesser extent Vt and RI but been to them all and often. your page says 4 years exp so you should have no problems you know the drill and can handle yourself if you've got that much time in.

many customers in jersey you'll go there alot to and some regular ones around philly. deleware to a lesser extent but you'll get there too. pretty much if it's east of the mississippi you're going there at some point.

my week this week was greensboro to grand rapids then alsip, il to zanesville, oh then washington court house, oh to marcy, ny then over to rochester and down to browns summit and then in for the weekend but kind of a short week as far as my weeks go i usually run it hard and down to the last minute.

start the week next week with a load off the yard going to pitman, nj

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. For the most part, I really like Epes. I drove for Roehl Transport for 6 months before coming here, and Epes is so much better. I don't do the NE, I'm SE region only but I get enough miles that sometimes I feel my DM thinks I'm running teams lol. As for home time, I'm on a set schedule of my choice because my wife is an RN and is off the same days during the week. And I wanna be home with her as much of her 4 days off that I can, so I launch out every other Saturday (it's usually my choice if I wanna go Sat morning or afternoon) and I stay out 11 days, then get home at some point on every other Tuesday and that gives me all of Wed, Thu and Fri home with her. And I have been averaging over 2300 each week as far as what I turn in so that works for me.

    a_kiraly Thanks this.

if i remember correctly you said you were around atlanta area? last time i heard someone ask about SE regional they told them it was only being offered to folks in and around atlanta. you running out of the OD drop yard there or is there another yard down there? that's a good schedule wish i could get something like that even though the miles are a little low for what i've been running....still i'd trade some miles for a more consistent schdule like that if i could get it lol..... i didn't even ask after i was standing there and they pretty much shot the other guy down as niether one of us are in that area.

Yes I live bout 1.5 hours south of Atlanta and yes the OD yard is my home yard, but my truck goes home with me. Officially I have been out 7 days today, and I've been dispatched 3580 miles lol. I've only got to run about 3300 of them tho because they are taking sooooooo long to load me here in Columbia SC and this is going to Valdosta. But I still have 3 hours left on my 14 so I may get a chance to knock out some before today is over. My odometer says I've run 3519 since I left the house. I'm a happy fella lol

if you live 1.5 hours south of Atlanta, and you're in Columbis, SC...how can you be 3519 miles away from home? haha Do you run the container loads? Are you running "most" of the same runs? Just wondering about the SE regional thing...didn't even knew we had one!

I've been out 7 days lol. My first run was up to Sutherland to Walmart. Then back down to Fla, etc. and no don't run containers. But am very happy with SE region.
