Thx Flying, I did unload a few trailers by hand even at werner so that part does not phase me at all. I just wanted to know whether otr made as much money as DF. By the way, will I see any of you guys from these posts at the terminal in Gboro on Monday? I have to be there by 10 am so y'all might be out by then but if not i would love to introduce myself. If you see a guy with long hair who does not quite know just yet what to do that will be me, haha.

Monday 10am i'll be in Michigan hopefully loaded on the next trip going to pa but i'm sure i'll see you around there at some point........sent you a pm with my truck number. pay on otr side won't match FD until you've got some time in......1st year otr increases are graduated until you reach the first year rate so I started out take home 550-750 and up to 650-800 by first year and now at 22 months in next week i'm pretty consistent at 800-1000 with some odd weeks in there less or more.....how much NE you run greatly affects that so those that are scared and turn those trips down don't make quite as much. last month has been a little off but it is that time of year so hopefully it's picking back up now.....it's been showing signs of getting rolling again and those numbers will hold and rise a little as I get into year 2 and get the next bump in pay.

    a_kiraly Thanks this.

I talked to one of them in Wilmington last week company driver said he almost never leaves nc and turns around 22-2300 miles a week and generally got home every Friday. Seemed pretty happy with his deal but I have no idea how he got it. Said he'd only been with the company 8 months but had prior experience before coming on board.

Think that is for the Sam's account ? Asked about it and was told only if I was treating to quit was it open to me. Would be a home daily run for me if they would dispatch me right ? On way to Danville store would be with in three miles of the house and 15 to the store. Guy next to me was fussing so they offered it to him?

Yeah funny how some can whine their way right into those things while those of us that most likely earned a gig like that never see it. Or wait a long time for it. He did say alot of SAMs runs out of Charlotte and IP drops out of riegelwood. Alot of the st gobain/verilla stuff too. he was a little annoyed he had to go all the way to Chester to drop one then all the way out to Williamsburg to pick up the beer load he took to Wilmington where I saw him. Guess some of them have it like that. They can lol not enough miles or money for me.
