Oh I know full well why I wasn't. Never lose a wink of sleep over it. Made me who I am now.

And they for the most part are still there and who they were. And always will be

Yep , me and the victim went down to Hooters for dinner ( made new friend), then watched the Green Mile on the boob tube . One of the best movies made! Belongs up there with some of the classics. "Take a lot of bullets to bring that boy down" , John was a big boy! Mr jingles the 64 year old mouse. Never made it to mouse town. Trainee had never saw it?
Hoping they get us in Friday , got hung out the last two weekends. But the trainee had never been out side NC since he moved the US. Been up to NJ down to Miami , back up to NJ back to FL . Since there was 3 wasted days in there not a bad 8 days of training. Wasted one entire day with a over weight Ikea load. At least it got two tires replaced while I was pulling it back and thro! Day of chase the Dr yesterday . Downloaded CPAP on card last time home and mailed it off. Monday the clinic still had not got the read out. Had to go take the machine to the supplier to get a good download then back to the clinic. Then had to road test a trainee grad. Did not finish till 1600 yesterday. No since in starting your day that late! But gave shop some time to check a few items on the truck.
Got a Road Team event Monday , hope the No Zone trailer has not walked off again!

As I read the forum this morning, I have no regrets on quitting Epes 2 weeks ago. It seems the only person who loves the place and is doing well is the flying musician. To that driver considering Epes who was told being a company driver is better than owner op/lease, that is complete BS. As a company driver, I did well for my first few weeks. After that, it became all about driving my days looking for an MT trailer or sitting and waiting on loads. Epes feeds the ### kissers, or drivers who never want to see there families. When I first started I stayed out 3 weeks and everything was gravy, then I decided to try to have a social life (small one anyways) and stay out 2 weeks........well I guess the planners didn't like that, so miles got less and checks got as low as 200.00 before taxes a couple times. Yes, some of the office people are nice, but nice don't pay the bills. Good luck in choosing a better company than this one. B safe out there.

I have been accepted by all the companies I applied too. I'm just taking my time making the choice hoping it will be the right one this time around. I have it narrowed down to Roehl and Van Wyk. Van Wyk can get me home weekly and instead of paying by the mile, they pay percentage to company drivers. The only draw back is I have to drive a 13 speed KW which I've never driven before, and they do reefer which means a lot of sitting (possibly overnight driving to get the load in on time).
