I was looking for some 411 on Gully Transportation while looking into a position with them. They seem, low key and flexible, but also honest that the pay is not the highest and the equipment is old. Anyone have any information to share? Is equipment well maintained, do people like working Gully? Any Info would be appreciated.

Wrong forum for asking questions about a company, try posting in http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/motor-carrier-questions-the-inside-scoop/ or using the Search function.
This section is for reporting bad companies, not for questions about a company.d o g Thanks this. -
How many threads are you going to post this on? I've counted 3 so far..

Just the three (3) ... trying to get the Good the Bad and the Ugly.

They have some nice FLD's that are reconditioned according to their website. They were crazy in love with Frehauf trailers so they refurbished them too I think, if I read that right? Their trucks are nice, the FLD's at least. Pay, like you said is not the best. When I tell the drivers on the CB their FLD's are nice, I hear nothing back. Other than that, I don't know much other than you can make the more money at USXpress or Crete.

Don't waste your time with them... Trucks and equipment are too old. Fld's have no working fuel gauges (trucks are fueled mostly at terminals, fuel is checked using yard sticks) Majority of their trailers are a hassle to deal with since they're so old, which can be a problem come scales. They run paper logs and communication is via peoplenet (in some trucks) or phone based. But for the most part you won't be making any good money there since the pay is low and no long runs...

Gully Transportation is the worst I promise you Old equipment low miles as all loads are short...Trailers old....and communication is at its worst!!! Noone knows or has any clue whats what or whats going on
outlaw running is expected and running 2300 miles at most in the system will leave you with 600 to 700 bucks but to run that you have a ton of drops unloads its nothing to be under 3 loads a day and dispatch hides as though they know nothing as to whats going on!!!! Trust me IM A DRIVER FOR THEM!!! -

Anyone know the reason behind the Blue LED marker light on every Gully Trailer? Only one of them is blue the rest are your standard red. It's on the drivers side right about where the tandems are, up high near roof. This is the only company I've seen that has this... Maybe just there signature so to speak?
