I am hoping to get some input on the working conditions at Systems Transport. I am still in school and have been offered a possible position with the 48 state OTR division. I have been told to get a passport and a HME. I've heard that they require tarps on ALL loads, is that true?

No not all loads are tarped. I live in Norcal and was able to get home when I wanted no questions asked. It is a great place to work especially when you are just starting out. They setup their trucks pretty nicely with APU's and inverters.. I didn't have my passport and it was never an issue for me. With the HME are you talking about hazmat? I don't believe System hauls any hazmat unless you went to JJ Williams their tanker division... Sometimes I wish I never left System

Thanks for the replies and helping me make my decision. I forgot to mention home time which is important, thank you.
