They are a food grade hauler, and there is no guarantee with any food grade outfit that you will be home every weekend. Lots of just in time freight, and when the bakery needs flour or corn syrup, the truck needs to be there before they run out. Many of their customers run 24/7 every day, and don't slow down production on the weekend. You can't make hot dog buns up ahead of time on a holiday weekend, so you can guarantee that you will run at least one day on any 3 day weekend. I've done this work for the last 4 years, and rarely see a three day holiday. The money makes up for it though. (most times!)

re

I started working for Foodliner 2 week's ago. So far i've worked mon-sat every week with being home almost every night just for the 10 hour break. They will keep you moving that's for sure. I'm already loaded up for the next 3 day's with 2 load's a day. Pay look's like 1000-1200 a week gross.

hey burky,
do you run for foodliner?

I'm trying to get on at gless bros. subsidiary of foodliner???.

Guy says I'd be approved by foodliner / questliner (their application) hired by gless bros, (their trucks and pay checks)

but dedicated to Hydrite and pull right out of their plant leaving the truck there over night parking my car on hydrite property when on a run...

all hazmat tank loads...

sounds like a really funky mix with the paper work but home time/benefits/paydays are all in the A+ column.

I never heard of gless before... hydrite plant is close to home so its all doable looking at it on paper.

just a little nervous/curious as to what I'm getting myself into.

Been working for petroleum hauler doing fuel/lp/anhydrous the last year. Actually loved it but company went boots up citing not getting paid by the customers...

Well that throwed a monkey wrench in my little lifes plans...lol

Mom told me to be a dentist... I should'a listened....
