Website to check a VIN

    Prob not the right subforum, but does anyone know of a website that doesnt charge an arm and a leg to do a vin check? The only ones i found want $30-$40 to check one vin. Thanks!

    If 30 to 40 dollars is an arm and a leg to you, wait till you break down with the truck you were too cheap to properly inspect .

    Nice. I guess that was your idea of helping someone out. Check out this response, OP, try calling the manufacturer dealer and have them run the VIN #. It might not be current info in their system but it's a start. Also, whatever insurance company you will be going through has ways to run the VIN. See how that works?

    Sorry... but you get what you pay for. Better to know now than later. Sometimes the best help is a reality check.
