I am a student at TDDS in Ohio and Falcon SOUNDS all good, but I can't seem to find any other opinions other than the recruiter and one driver......makes me wonder if I better just go to Transport America.....hmmmmmmmmm Bd422

Dont Do it Do not work for falcon. There have been days when my husband would make the equivalent of $6.00/hr---continually driving. One load that was frequently given to him basically took him the entire length of PA and OH for a wopping $134. He would have made more money doing a double shift at a wal-mart. The best week he had he made like $740 gross...and that was in 6 days. Most typically the pay is around $600 gross. Serious disappointment.

Thanks guys, I will stay away from falcon. Maverick sent me the green light this morning. All my efforts will be to get on with them. $500 for orientation, $550 a week for training. They start out at 36 cents a mile. The only bad thing is they dont pay tuition reimbursement. This would be a non factor to me if I am making 16000 more a year anyway.

Good Luck I don't know much about Maverick, but my Dad worked for Transport America for 13 1/2 yrs, and never had any problems with them. He was the #2 driver out of the North Jackson, Ohio terminal, now a very good friend of mine works out of the same terminal and has been with them for almost a yr and he really likes them to. Regardless of what company you choose, good luck.
