Generictrucker, looking for the good & bad about them. Are they decent to work
for? Do you get good miles? What do they govern their trucks at? Do they pay practical miles?

They don't seem like a bad company I know it's a decent starter company I've heard guys say they will run you like crazy aslong as your good with your hours, I'm not sure what there governed at, I blow by em all the time I'd guess 64-66?

We're a fairly smal company, under 500 trucks registered, with 470 employees (Last time I checked), and I know most of the corporate/office/shop staff. We're governed at 65, with a 30 mins allowed at 68 (In some trucks) for passing. I personally run fairly hard, averaging 10,000-12,000 mi per month. mileage is based in practical/zipcode (Which ever is higher). Detention is reasonable, up to 15 an hour after two hours. They have their moments of... obtuseness to put it politely. I have banged heads with a few of the dispatchers/shop guys, but not near as bad as I have before. We run newer equipment, mostly Freightliner Cascadias, but we also have some Petes and KWs. We have a few Internationals, but they are all being phased out, no one likes them and they break down every 500 mi. We are E-logged, but with DriverTech. There are talks by corporate (The CEO of the company) that we may be testing a different system soon enough. All trucks have Sirius XM radios installed, but you have to pay for the service. They are also now offering DirecTV to be installed on your truck, although it costs to install and you pay for the service if you do not make high numbers on your scorecard. Hope I answered what you asked. Feel free to ask more if needed.
