This is what I did. But since acquiring my license, No jobs have come my way. It seems no experience with a "B" means the same as no experience with an "A". Plus the fact that no one gives up these jobs once they get them.

spacecoast, have you tried finding a small produce vendor to work for? or a local lumber yard? you might want to try a small wrecker company. It's more work but, you will make about the same as an average company driver running over the road.

The only thing i can think of. that is preventing you from finding a job. is you have something stinky in your backround. maybe a shakey employment history.

Background is totally clean...Employment history is A+. Three jobs since 1990 . First one I held until I moved in 1998. Second I held until 2006. Last one until this past March when I got laid off. No gaps between the jobs. The only reason I left the first two was because I moved out of state each time. Maybe they want the younger guys...who knows. But I keep plugging along though.

Well, unless the webpage and the recruiter are lying out their butts (possible, but I've seen a lot of drivers pretty happy) they oofer new drivers a staggered plan over 60k miles (team driving miles) with increasing pay up to 42 CPM. + fuel bonus, etc. when you solo.

I'm looking for a company that will pay me 42 CPM after 4 months out of school. ----Still waiting.

If the recruiter is LYING, or the company stinks for other reasons, PLEASE post it here. Otherwise it seems like a good deal... (Short-term stinky, long-term terrific).

Love to see some posts here.
