depends on where you are/what you hauling/what the customer put on the bid
-
The guy I drove for charged by the ton.
-
From what I know it depends but most are hourly if local or by the ton
-
Depends on what kind of material you are hauling, how far it is going, etc...I try to make $60 hr. or $3 to $4 per mile when I am hauling someone else's material...if I am on an onsite job I usually charge $50 hr.
-
60 an he wow I just left dump trucking and we were getting 95 an he for a quad which hauls 22-24 tons
-
Yeah...i just have a couple tandems which max out @ 15 tons...houston area avg. rates...probably varies around the country too
-
when i left the construction industry. rates were 50 for dump, 65 with trailer. per hour. 65 for end dumps. 80 if truck was 5 axle and 4 axle trailer. 90 for double bellies.
rates were higher before the economy tanked. by about 20 bucks per hour. -
so if a job took 3hrs round trip what would you charge...end dump caring top soil??
-
Me personally I would be at 300 bucks
