Looking for any information on this company. I have found absolutely nothing. Specifically the Jacksonville, FL terminal. TIA!

Hi ladytrex88 I worked with PTI out of the cedarsprings ga terminal I dont know about jacksonville but cedarsprings and albany ga were dedicated to georgia pacific. I hauled rolls of paper outta cedar th different gp's like agusta ga, asheboro nc, Spartanburg sc, cleveland tn, port of panama city fl and other mills those were the most frequently visited by me then id usually get a back haul of paper scrap back to cedar or go back mt to albany ga from there Id haul boxes to whoever needs boxes. They're a good company home on weekends and .40 cent a mile just wasnt the company for me.
LadyTRex88 Thanks this. -
Appreciate the info ftothek. I have been corresponding with another driver out of Cedar Park who is getting decent miles. My Husband has been working out of Jacksonville for about a month but he's not getting any miles. Spent a lot of time researching carriers before he quit his job and PTI seemed to have the majority of our checklist. Just not sure what to do at this point. Wait it out or move on.
Can you tell me what wasn't to your liking and where you went after them? -
There wasnt any communication from dispatch
I haul propane for now for upg -

I dont know why they have a night dispatch first off they're rude and second they're unable to make a decision they just always told me to call back in the morning so id do a 10 weather I wanted to or not I dont know about jacksonville but cedar and albany I know pti is not going to move one of them trucks without georgia pacifics say so ive sat in albany ga 16 hrs just because gp wanted me there just in case someone missed a load thats what dispatch said

He really hasn't had a problem with deliveries YET. Of course, he's only been there 5 weeks and maybe had 6 loads. I agree about night dispatch. They have given his loads away twice. He gets to the yard and the trailer is gone. When he calls dispatch they say the load was supposed to head out by 7 am but his dispatcher said it was due for deliver the next afternoon. Once they researched it night dispatch realized it was already assigned to him and they screwed up. That didn't help because there were no other loads. Which is another issue I have a severe problem with. How can they not have loads. Too many drivers????? I know they had 2 big hiring events and maybe they are waiting for some of these young bucks to decide that driving isn't their cup of tea. But in the mean time a guy with 30+ years experience is sitting at home waiting on freight.

I wish your husband luck ladytrex88 I just went ahead and got out of there before I got to deep in a hole I have a wife and two kids I have to think about so if the company is not treating me right they're not treating my family right so ill move on on the other hand there is people there doing good and getting miles I just never seen that kinda dispatch where noone could give me a straight answer let alone an any kind of answer u might tell him to give his two weeks notice that might help him out for a week or two I did that 3 times before I actually ment it

Yeah, I have to agree with you. I'm disabled and my co-pays are pretty high some months. THat was why he needed to find a better paying job. Plus it has always been our dream to go over the road together. I had always been the bread winner in the family so I couldn't quit my job. I took 4 years to get to a point that I could be away from my doctors for extended periods of time and then researched carriers for a couple months before deciding on PTI. Man I wish it would work out but can't live on hopes and promises. That just doesn't pay the bills. We're looking at a local company now just to get caught back up then in a year or so try the OTR thing again.
