Is this the co. that hauls out of steel mill with same name?

Think he is referring to cmi (Cole motorsports inc) they do a lot of military the few driver I talked to that worked there seem to like it the only part I didn't like was that you had to have a non driver ride with you at all time to babysit the load when you are not in the truck on sleeping because alot of the military freight still have the electronics and munitions in it

Yes, its Cole Motorsports I was referring to. Just wondered if anyone here knew if they hire right out of school. Would like to work my way up to heavy haul with a company like this.

Replying to an ancient thread
Apparently CMI does hire right out of school
Their recruiter visits the state Vo Tech school
And it seems They also hire right out of school drivers under 21 years old
They are picky though
You can’t owe any unpaid child support
Can’t have any Liens or foreclosure or repossessions
No arrests ever
And your driving record has to be squeaky clean
And you have to pass a military background check for a “secret “ security clearance
The application for that is 96 pages
The DoD will investigate all your family , parents , siblings , children ,neighbors , inlaws etc
Make it through all that and you are in.
And yes they’ve do have a security rider with the driver to watch the cargo while the driver is resting sleeping eating showering or otherwise not at the truck
I don’t know of any other company that hires students just out of school for heavy haul
Or hires under 21 for in state driving
