I see there trucks out near the Nestle plant in Solon, Ohio a lot and also around Great Lakes Cold Storage in Solon, Ohio as well.
jeff18 Thanks this. -
I have a real good friend of mine who works the yard in Norwalk. He's been there a year and likes it so far.
jeff18 Thanks this. -
They are very active on Harper Cochran Road in Solon, Ohio so active that I see a lot of Dutch Maid Day Cabs doing some kind of shuttle and now and then a yard goat pulling a trailer here or there down the road.
All I can think of is Nestle and Great Lakes Cold Storage over there, well Peterson's nuts also has a plant over there.
When I worked at the pizza shop from time to time Hillcrest Foods Service of Cleveland, Ohio would deliver us tomatoes that came in boxes that said DUTCH MAID on them, same company you work for same logo all that good stuff.jeff18 Thanks this. -
Ok. just a little info for you guys. I am starting on the 10th of january. i will be driving there as i am only 170 miles from the terminal. i will not mind that drive when i come home for home time. i will probably be doing 3 weeks out three home. Equipment will either be volvo 670 or freightliner cascadia. All of there trucks have apu and fridge. i have been told that you can go home more than i will be. was told 3 out 4 weekendas a month you can go home if you want. i need money so i will do longer turns for that. hotel is right down the street from the yard. will be at yard for two days for orientation then in a truck with another driver for a delivery so ican learn there procedures for qualcomm and check calls. i am looking forward to a long relationship with this company. oh by the way. i do not have to drive to orientation if iwanted. they would of had adriver pick me up if i had requested.
