Have you ever stacked cases 5 on the bottom of the pallet, then rotate the next 5 so the coke a cola can be read, then stack it like that 6 levels high ?? Now stack 19 pallets like that then you get to un-stack and unload and re-stack at the store..all shift long..its union and you'll do the dirty work first..good luck..

I can't speak for them but I am at Canada Dry and they share the same union. I'll say this from my experience here, depending on your area will more than likely depend on your start time. You'll start off with a trainer and then you be given training routes. The beginning will seem sweet, you may even get done early. But once the traing wheels come off you may be looking at 12+ hr days. You'll have to deal with the elements (rain, sleet, snow and heat). There maybe stores you might have to "pack out" (open cases of soda and put on shelves). You'll probably be lugging cases up steps. You may drop you stacks of soda from time to time and loose a case or two altogether which takes away from your commission. You maybe responsible for cases lost ir stolen if it's anything like us (don't come up short too many cases to often if you can help and definitely don't loose $$$).

The health benifits where I am at is good (you can get braces as an adult and it's close if not 100% covered) you get legal representation, the pay gets better with time but no where near what you can get car hailing or flat bed. I personally believe you can make more money at other traditional trucking companies.
