Looking for the right job

    I have been driving for 13 years now. 2 years were OTR and the other 11 has been in oilfield related operations all over. As everyone probably knows oilfield is not the place to be right now. I am just curious about finding a company were I can make a decent living and still get quality time with my family. I know i will not find anything that compares to oilfield money but thats ok. I just need to find something that comes close to 70k a year. I have my X endorsement. Any help on a good company to check out would be greatly appreciated. I do not trust recruiters.

    Where do you live? And have you applied at Walmart yet? If you're near a DC, you can make more than $70k a year and have decent hometime and good bennies.

    Can make $60K - $70K with hazmat tankers. Where do you live; need to know the hiring area you live in.

    The nearest DC to me would be in Palestine, Tx. It would be a 2 hour commute. Might be worth giving them a shout though. Thanks for the info.
