harris quality transportation

there is more to this story isn't there,i have known bill and roxanne for many many years and i know how they operate. I think you are leaving out a few facts,don't make ne embarrass you on here

 

I retract my statement about this company,recently left there after 3 years of employment and Roxanne slammed me on my DAC and employment verification that my new employer sent out.found out that this "family" atmosphere is b.s.,It's all about filling Roxanne's purse and to hell with the drivers they are just another piece of equipment.I just think about all the illegal #### I did for them to make Harris look good. Oh well onward to bigger and better things.

 

Is there someone here that works for Harris Quality out of Gretna NE.
I am thing about going there, I have read one or two things about them.
Seems like they are a soso Co.

 

i work for HQ. been there over a year. been driving along time, 18 years. and this is probably the best gig ive had. and ive been alot of places. it always depends on what your looking for though. you know whats the best job for 1 person is the worst for another. i can give you the good and the bad if u ask me specific questions.

 

ive been at harris awhile. in my opinion they're good to you if your good to them. i find it hard to believe that bill or roxanne would screw you out of spite. about the DAC they dont make it up. but they report evey incident.

 

I would guess the good would be can you get the miles you would like "SAY" 3.000 a week, and the bad part how are they with your logs.

 

You can get the miles. If You are willing to do what it takes. I made over $64,000, last year. Granted I was top earner last year, but alot of people make good money. I think the average was the high $50's. There are those I talk to that say they can't get no miles though. The thing I like here is that your hard work gets rewarded. You do good work they give you more of it. Things I dont like is 65 mph. Can't wash your truck on the road any more. Things I like are the routes. Its a good mix of the same runs plus a few odd runs to keep it interesting. I seem to run mostly west, which I prefer. But I think there are some guys who live in the SE who run that way alot. Also they take good care of equipment. Especially trailers, which I like. Some companies every time you drop and hook its like whats it going to be this time. Well, thats about it. Try again she tried to charge me with a shifted load,when I stopped by there after leaving their employ asked to see evidence,she produced a picture of a shifted load that was dated after I left then tried to slide it off on the safety lady that was not even there anymore,thats allright I blackmailed them into fixing my dac with some information the DOT might have been interested in. I was one of the first 20 drivers to ever work there,out of the original 20 there are only about 3 left.Bill Harris is truly a good person but that one that sitts upstairs is in it only for her.A statement was made once that she "was brought up poor and no matter who I have to hurt I will never go back there again". Dispatcher Mark Roeder is awesome best dispatcher I've ever had. They got rid of a good safety director and replaced her with a recweptionsit who has never seen the inside of a truck,my buddy that used to work there had to explain to her how to do logs,and he was a driver.
